Short CV

2012-2016 : PhD at Laboratoire Kastler Brossel, Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris
"Optical Nanofibers Interfacing Cold Atoms -  A Tool for Quantum Optics", supervised by Julien Laurat. (www.normalesup.org/~gouraud/phd.html

I designed and built a new experiment involving optical nanofibers and cold atoms. We took our first steps in this field, caught up with the foremost results and went beyond the state-of-the-art.
I developed technical and theoretical tools in various areas such as optics, scientific instrumentation, vacuum engineering, nanofabrication and atom physics.

2008-2012 : Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Physics, ENS Paris
Second year Master's degree focused on Fundamental Concepts of Physics (now ICFP) and specialized in Quantum Physics.

2008 : Accepted in École Normale Supérieure de la rue d'Ulm (ENS), Paris
Studying in the Physics and Computer Science departments.

SKILLS

IT and electronics : Developed computer and digital electronics (FPGA) tools for measurement and automation. Experimented with different programming languages, including Python, C/C++, Verilog, Openscad, Latex, Mathematica. Interested in open-source software and hardware in general.

Optics/opto-electronics: Many tools in optics and opto-electronics are essential for my daily research work. Taught for the "Optical Instrumentation and Imaging" BA in UPMC.
